EL HOT! Accord

Now to debrief, this was NOT suppose to happen! A few weeks before the pictures you see, Carlos had an incident that messed up his front bumper.  A simple minded person would just of course, buy a new bumper and repaint it but with prices of an OE style bumper matching the prices of ALREADY painted bumpers from Yofer, it was no doubt in Carlos’ mind to just go ahead and order an aftermarket bumper. Now, remember when we mentioned that this was meant to stay simple for “daily” reasoning. (Pictures not shown), Carlos for a while owned Tandems on the car to keep it simplistic but he figured if he’s getting an aggressive bumper it has to have aggressive wheels. So taking a 6 hour round trip, he picked up wheels which are Leon Harditt and threw them on. Only issue is, the fitment wasn’t up to par from previous setups and the only resolution was arms and extension to make it fit. All leading up to this…. 

Now again, remember this was suppose to be simple? If you recall, Carlos’ ordered a brand new front bumper for the car, already painted. Showing only a select few at the time what he was doing, but out of all people, his boss tell him “If you ordered the front, why not complete the kit and order the rear bumper also.” Not wanting to pay the $1K tax on a rear bumper also, began the search of looking for a rear Yofer bumper to complete the look. With that, he found one 6 hours away and decided to send it by picking up the bumper. Unfortunately, being unpainted, it would cost a crazy amount to get it paint matched. Which ends up with results here. Our good friend Jon who owns JB Auto Design figured it would be great opportunity to a “fast” turnaround and promotion towards his work, which wasn’t missed anywhere throughout.
